It’s that time of year when the tropics heat up and you know what that means – there’s the potential for hurricanes. Hurricane season runs through November 30 with activity peaking in September, so it’s never too early to be prepared.
At South Atlantic Bank, we take these storms very seriously and have plans in place in the event of a weather emergency. Our number one priority is the safety of our customers and employees.
- If we need to close during the day or anticipate that we will be closed the following day, we will post signs in our offices to announce the closing and anticipated time of reopening.
- We will place a closing message on our incoming phone lines and revise it when changes are warranted.
- Our website, SouthAtlanticBank.com, will also feature information on changes in hours due to the storm and will be updated periodically as we have more information.
